Web Service Integration

The Zubed application exposes operational functionality through Application Programming Interfaces (API) presented as Extensible Markup Language (XML) based web services.  Web services use Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP), a language and platform independent messaging format for structured data. Zubed's web services are compliant with SOAP 1.2 and WS-I Basic Profile 1.1 for maximum compatibility with other development environments.  Most of Zubed's web services are designed to be "open" to all external applications. However, where additional functionality or increased security is required, web services can be amended to only interact with specific customers.

Zubed Geospatial has an ongoing programme for the development of the product.  Where a client requires functionality that is not provided through pre-existing web services, Zubed would normally expect to develop them as part of the overall project plan for that client.   The pre-existing web services are shown below:
